Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer / Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python programming, network automation, and Kubernetes, along with solid understanding of telecom/networking protocols (L2–L7). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions for modern network infrastructures, improving efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop network automation solutions using Python
• Automate configuration, provisioning, and monitoring of network devices
• Work on Kubernetes-based deployments for network applications and services
• Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and automation frameworks
• Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with network and DevOps teams to streamline operations
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and automation workflows
• Ensure scalability, security, and high availability of network systems

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Python programming (5–10 years)
• Hands-on experience in network automation (using tools/frameworks like Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, etc.)
• Good experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
• Strong understanding of Telecom/Networking protocols or L2–L7 protocols such as:
• L2: VLAN, STP, VXLAN
• L3: IP, OSPF, BGP
• L4–L7: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Experience with container networking (CNI, service mesh)
• Understanding of SDN/NFV architectures
• Exposure to telecom domains (5G, EPC, IMS, OSS/BSS)

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working in telecom/networking product or services companies
