About the Role

This role is focused on building simple, reliable automations, not large data pipelines or complex systems. You will work on practical tasks like automating workflows using Google Sheets, Shopify data, scheduled scripts, and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing Google Apps Script automations
• Building Python scripts that run on a virtual machine using cron
• Integrating APIs such as:
• Shopify
• Slack
• Email services
• Google services (Sheets, BigQuery as a data destination)
• Basic Linux knowledge (running scripts, editing cron jobs)

Required

• Experience building business automations using:
• Google Apps Script or
• Python
• Comfort working with APIs (making HTTP requests, handling JSON)
• Ability to run scripts automatically (triggers, cron jobs, scheduled runs)
• Basic understanding of how automations behave when something goes wrong
