About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Automation Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of intelligent automation solutions across our enterprise. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or UiPath. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, define architecture standards, and ensure scalable and secure automation deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end automation solutions aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
- Lead the architecture and development of RPA workflows using Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or UiPath.
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Define best practices, coding standards, and governance models for automation projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Ensure security, compliance, and performance standards are met in all automation implementations.
- Monitor and optimize existing automation solutions for efficiency and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in intelligent automation, AI, and machine learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in automation architecture and development.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major RPA platform: Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or UiPath.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or VBScript.
- Experience with API integrations, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in one or more RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Professional).
- Experience with AI/ML integration in automation workflows.
- Familiarity with process mining tools like Celonis or Power BI for automation opportunity identification.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment.
- Experience in managing automation CoEs (Centers of Excellence).
