Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing for enterprise web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium and RestAssured (Java) and knowledge of CRM systems. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using RestAssured and Selenium with Java to ensure smooth integration with Azure test pipelines.
- Design, enhance, and take ownership of scalable automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects and cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and convert them into effective test scenarios.
- Design and document test cases and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools, and perform retesting to validate fixes.
- Participate in regular agile ceremonies.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium and RestAssured.
- Strong proficiency in Java or similar programming languages.
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining hybrid automation frameworks with TestNG.
- Familiarity with Maven, Git, Azure Pipelines.
- Experience in API validation, schema validation, and integration testing using REST APIs.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for improving productivity.
- Proficient in writing and executing test scenarios and cases from business/system requirements.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in different levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression, UAT)
- Experience with web-based applications and understanding of web technologies.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA etc).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to SAFe methodologies.
- Knowledge in CRM tools like D365, Salesforce, etc. would be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of Databases (simple select queries, joins, etc.) and JDBC.
