We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Autocad Electrical Designer to join our client's team through Acme Services. This role is crucial for contributing to the intricate design of metallic Aero structures, demanding a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in this specialized field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of industry-standard design software, particularly Autocad Electrical, alongside proficiency in Catia and/or Enovia. A foundational knowledge of Bombardier design processes and methods is a minimum requirement, ensuring that all designs adhere to rigorous industry benchmarks and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical System Design: Utilize expert knowledge of Autocad Electrical to conceptualize, design, and develop detailed electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and component layouts, specifically for metallic Aero structures.
- Software Integration: Leverage a strong command of Catia and/or Enovia to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs within larger structural and mechanical assemblies, verifying compatibility and functionality.
- Aerospace Design Specialization: Apply a minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in the design of metallic Aero structures, demonstrating a deep understanding of material properties, structural integrity, and aerospace design principles.
- Process Compliance: Strictly adhere to established industry design processes and methods. A solid understanding of Bombardier design processes and methods is essential to ensure design integrity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams (e.g., structural, mechanical, systems) to facilitate holistic design integration, resolve potential clashes, and address issues proactively during the design cycle.
- Technical Documentation: Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed design specifications, BOMs (Bills of Material), and ensure conformity to relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Problem-Solving & Optimization: Identify complex design challenges, propose innovative and effective solutions, and optimize electrical systems for superior performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
