About the Role
We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD Designer to join our robotics development team in Surat. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design or CAD drafting, preferably in automation or robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Design and modify robotic arm components, mechanical parts, fixtures, and assemblies.
- Convert engineering concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings meet dimensioning, tolerance, and material specification standards.
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams during prototyping and production.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD design or mechanical drafting.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles and fabrication processes.
- Experience with robotic or mechanical components is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred (Optional) Skills
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or other CAD software.
- Experience designing parts involving motors, linkages, or gearing.
