Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Australian Accounting and Bookkeeping position at Tax Emporium. The role will involve managing financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting software, finance, and journal entries, Payroll, etc. The accountant will support the management and reporting of financial information at Tax Emporium, an Australian accounting firm. Working remotely from India, this role includes organizing accounting records, assisting with tax returns, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. It provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop skills in various areas of accounting.

Qualifications

• Financial Statements and Bookkeeping skills
• Accounting Software proficiency
• Experience in Finance and Journal Entries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Skills/Attributes Required:

• Basic understanding of accounting systems and processes.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks)
• Understanding of taxation laws and compliance (especially for roles involving BAS, GST, PAYG, etc.)
