Job Title: Team Lead (TL) Audit & Asset Protection
Location: Meerut (Best Price Store)
Reports To: Senior Manager Asset Protection (AM-AP)
About the Role
As the Lead Audit, you will be the guardian of inventory integrity at our Meerut location. You will lead a high-performing team to ensure that every piece of merchandise is accounted for, discrepancies are investigated with precision, and the store maintains peak operational health. You will step up as the departmental lead in the absence of the AM-AP, driving both team growth and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Integrity & Physical Audits
- Physical Verification: Execute comprehensive audits by physically counting merchandise to ensure system accuracy.
- Variance Investigation: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Shrink Management: Account for inventory shrink or overages, performing necessary adjustments to maintain a true inventory view.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly inventory management reports to provide actionable insights to leadership.
2. Operational Excellence
- Periodic Audits: Schedule and monitor the completion of all required periodic audits under the guidance of the AM-AP.
- Data Security: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive store data and inventory reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong rapport with all store departments. Use various communication channels (meetings, email, one-on-ones) to ensure a unified approach to loss prevention.
3. Leadership & People Development
- Talent Management: Identify High-Potential (HIPO) candidates within the department; focus on their retention, mentorship, and career growth.
- Accountability: Supervise Audit and Asset Protection (AP) associates, ensuring high standards of accountability and performance.
- Succession: Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for the department in the absence of the AM-AP.
