Job Title: Team Lead Audit (Inventory & Asset Protection)
Location: Best Price Store, Aurangabad Reporting to: Assistant Manager Asset Protection (AM-AP)
Role Overview
As the TL Audit, you will be the guardian of inventory accuracy. You will lead a team to ensure that what's on the shelves matches what's in the system, directly impacting the store's profitability. We are looking for a detail-oriented leader who thrives on data integrity and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Integrity: Lead physical merchandise counts, investigate variances (shrinkage or overages), and perform system adjustments to maintain 100% stock accuracy.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports to identify trends and process gaps.
- Audit Management: Oversee the completion of all periodic audits as per the store schedule and the guidance of the AM-AP.
- Team Leadership: Identify and mentor High-Potential (HIPO) candidates within the department to ensure a strong talent pipeline and team retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong rapport with all store departments to promote a culture of transparency and open communication.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial and inventory data with the highest level of integrity.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in retail auditing, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Leadership: Ability to manage a team and step up as the person-in-charge in the absence of the AM-AP.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal reporting and team meetings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
