Role Summary
The Audit Manager will lead audit engagements and be responsible for execution and delivery under the remote service delivery model, in line with Grant Thorntons audit methodology, tools, and quality standards. The role involves managing teams, client communication, engagement delivery, and contributing to people development and recruitment initiatives.
CA / CPA / ACCA qualification is MANDATORY
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Apply strong technical expertise in accounting and auditing standards with relevant industry specialization.
- Supervise, review, and guide work performed by Senior Associates and Associates.
- Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while adhering to budgets and timelines.
- Maintain active and effective communication with clients to manage expectations and handle escalations.
- Conduct detailed or quality reviews of audit work based on complexity and team experience.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and classroom training to audit teams.
- Mentor team members and conduct regular one-on-one discussions covering performance, technical skills, and career development.
- Ensure audit documentation complies with firm quality and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Partners and Senior Managers on proposals and business development discussions.
- Actively participate in recruitment drives and talent development initiatives.
- Stay updated on new accounting, auditing standards, and regulatory changes and share knowledge with the team.
- Uphold the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
