Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Statutory Audit Team Lead with 1–3 years of audit experience. The Audit Manager will oversee and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and timely delivery of reports. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, working closely with clients to understand their business processes, and leading auditing teams. The role also involves providing insights and recommendations to improve financial operations and compliance. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pune.
Qualification
Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years experience of Statutory and Tax Audits.
Working knowledge of ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) for data extraction, GL review, and control testing
Working knowledge of Ind AS / Indian GAAP, financial statement review, and disclosure requirements
Familiarity with Companies Act, 2013, ICAI standards, IFC reporting requirements, and other statutory regulations
Working knowledge of Audit Documentation as per Auditing Standards
Team handling experience of at least 2 -4 team members
Scope
Audit planning and execution, Preparation and maintenance of audit working papers as per auditing standards and firm methodology
Support in drafting financial statements and audit reports;
Guide and supervise junior team members on assignments, Allocate tasks and monitor daily progress
Ensure timely completion of work assigned to the team.
Coordinate with client teams for data requests and clarifications.
Communicate audit observations professionally and escalate issues when required.
Build rapport with client contacts through efficient service and responsiveness.
Ensure adherence to audit methodology, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure completeness of audit files.
Assist seniors in identifying audit issues and suggesting improvements.
Stay updated with accounting and auditing standards (IND AS, AS, Companies Act)
Travel to plants and site locations, as per assignment requirements
