Job Title: Audit Lead-COE & Analytics

Department/Function: Internal Audit

Job Purpose

The Audit Lead COE & Analytics is responsible for leading internal audits across the bank. This includes full ownership of the audit process, from checklist creation to execution within defined timelines, report publication, and quarterly presentation preparation. The role requires adherence to bank guidelines to ensure efficiency and alignment with broader organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and administer the bank's annual audit plan.

Monitor the audit cycle program to ensure effectiveness and currency.

Manage detailed planning, risk assessment, scoping, and resourcing of complex audit projects.

Lead preliminary planning and establish direction for audits, support assigned auditors, and manage projects to quality outcomes within time budgets.

Ensure execution of audit plans within agreed timelines, draft audit reports, and finalize them with auditees.

Review working papers prepared by subordinates and take complete ownership.

Identify critical areas for continuous monitoring and develop necessary exception reports.

Develop operational expertise in core areas and leverage it in internal audits.

Create key metrics, trends, and strategic analysis, and present audit trends and results to senior management.

Prepare audit committee presentations for quarterly audits, ensuring inclusion of critical issues and action plans.

Conduct follow-up audits to ensure compliance with regulations and bank policies.

Conduct special audits as required by senior management and issue results.

Provide guidance and training to project team members in Internal Audit.

Capture and share best practices within the team.

Foster a collaborative learning environment and promote collective ownership of responsibilities.

Leverage in-house synergies through collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Stay updated with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.

Attract and retain best-in-class talent for key roles within the reporting structure.

Strong understanding of audit processes and methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and presentation abilities.

Ability to lead and manage audit teams.

Proficiency in developing audit metrics and strategic analysis.

Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Educational Qualifications

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience 10-18 years of relevant experience
