Position Summary
Fort Hill is seeking a detail-oriented Audit Consultant-Construction Background. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytical rigor, familiarity with construction documentation, and strong coordination skills.
In this role, you will support management in evaluating billings, reviewing contractual compliance, validating financial submissions, and preparing audit deliverables. You will also work directly with clients, and project stakeholders to gather evidence and support findings.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in conducting contract audits focused on cost verification and billing accuracy.
- Will be involved in Contract Administration, Planning, Billing, Coordination, Budgeting.
- Review supporting financial documents against construction related contract terms.
- Perform front-end reviews of construction bid packages, proposals, and contracts to identify financial and compliance risks.
- Conduct in-process and closeout cost and billing reviews, including detailed analysis of labor, materials, equipment, general conditions, and other cost components.
- Perform analytical tests to identify inconsistencies, or non-compliant charges.
- Evaluate and recommend opportunities for cost saving and process improvement.
Required:
- Should be excellent in using Advanced Microsoft excel.
- Bachelor's degree (B. Tech. minimum), M. Tech in construction or civil engineering, PMP certification is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience contract audit; applied in the construction industry is a plus..
- Excellent verbal and exceptional English written communication skills.
- Ability to support Eastern Time Zone calls and working hours as needed.
- Should be from Tier-1 and Tier 2 colleges .
