Role OverviewWe are looking for experienced Audio Video Installers / Audio Video Technicians with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring, commissioning, and maintaining professional audio-visual systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AV field operations, AV product knowledge, installation practices, commissioning, programming, AV networking, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and commission professional AV systems for commercial and luxury projects
- Read and execute schematics, signal flow diagrams, and technical drawings
- Configure and commission DSP platforms such as Biamp, QSC Q-SYS, BSS, or Symetrix
- Perform cable termination, rack installation, equipment mounting, and system testing
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers for seamless integration
- Calibrate and fine-tune AV systems to meet project specifications
- Provide on-site technical support during installation and post-handover
- Troubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control system issues
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry standards
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electronics, Audio Engineering, ITI, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional AV installation and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of AV hardware, cabling, rack systems, and troubleshooting
- Experience with DSP setup and tuning
- Knowledge of:
- Audio distribution systems
- Video over IP
- Control systems (Crestron, Extron)
- AV-over-network protocols
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, EASE, D-Tools is an advantage
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to work on-site and travel for projects when required
