Role: Audio QC Engineer
The Audio QC Engineer is responsible for performing detailed audio quality checks and delivering files that meet client specifications. The role requires strong technical expertise, a sharp ear for audio issues, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audio conforms and QC on stereo, 5.1, and Dolby Atmos mixes.
- Identify audio anomalies, troubleshoot, and coordinate fixes with the mixing team.
- Maintain accurate work trackers and deliver tasks on time.
- Ensure audio equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with the team and participate in ongoing training.
- Work across shifts as required.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of Avid Pro Tools and related hardware/control surfaces.
- Understanding of audio workflows for OTT and home entertainment.
- Solid grasp of digital audio fundamentals, timecode, sync, and video codecs.
- Ability to interpret client requirements and deliver accordingly.
- Good troubleshooting skills and understanding of signal flow.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Windows, macOS, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
