Job Opportunity: ATE Test Engineer (Bangalore)
We are looking for
five (5) motivated ATE Test Engineers to join our technical team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for the validation and testing of semiconductor devices, ensuring the highest standards of quality and yield. If you have hands-on experience with industry-standard ATE platforms and a passion for semiconductor device physics, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview
- Location: Bangalore (In-office)

Key Responsibilities
As an ATE Test Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and high-volume manufacturing through rigorous testing protocols.
- Test Execution: Perform ATE (Automated Test Equipment) testing for various semiconductor devices following strict test plans.
- Program Development: Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Data Analysis: Analyze test data to identify failures, root causes, and yield issues; implement corrective actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Design and Product Engineering teams to suggest and implement test improvements.
- Maintenance: Ensure proper calibration and preventive maintenance of all test equipment and load boards.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports, characterization data, and engineering documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with major ATE platforms such as Teradyne (Eagle/J750/UltraFLEX), Advantest (V93000), or LTX-Credence.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, digital/analog testing concepts, and DFT (Design for Test).
- Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on yield optimization and failure analysis.
- Programming: Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (C/C++, Python, or Perl) for test automation is a significant advantage.
