This is an on-site contract position located in Ooty for the role of Astronomy Educator. The responsibilities include creating and delivering interactive astronomy lessons to diverse groups, planning and implementing engaging educational activities, and conducting training sessions for learners of varied age groups. The Astronomy Educator will also contribute to events and programs aimed at enhancing public understanding of astronomy.

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching techniques to deliver structured and engaging educational content.
• Strong skills in Education, Training, and Communication to facilitate knowledge-sharing with diverse audiences effectively.
• Passion for astronomy and science outreach, with a commitment to making learning accessible to all.
• Prior experience in a teaching or educational role; familiarity with astronomy concepts and tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Astronomy, or related fields is preferred.
