Asterisk Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the latest Asterisk version and develop IVR and call center applications
• Integrate Asterisk with multiple SIP servers and PSTN networks
• Develop and troubleshoot using interfaces like EAGI, Fast AGI, and AGI
• Connect Asterisk with MySQL and MSSQL databases using queries and stored procedures
• Write automation and custom scripts using Shell, Perl, and Python
• Install and manage hosted VoIP setups and maintain multi-asterisk server architecture
• Implement and troubleshoot Asterisk dial-plans, Gateway Interface, and Manager Interface
• Manage and optimize PBX, SIP, RTP protocols, queues, IVRs, and voicemail systems
• Install and configure Asterisk with PSTN cards and maintain system health
• Work in Linux-based LAMP environments and support ongoing R&D in Asterisk
