Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Manager Assurance position, responsible for leading fieldwork on audit engagements and ensuring high-quality audit documentation and timely delivery. The role requires evaluating control deficiencies, forming views on materiality, and communicating findings to management. The successful candidate will provide training to junior team members and ensure audits are conducted in compliance with Ind AS and other accounting standards. Located in Pune, this mid-level role offers a competitive salary package in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fieldwork for small/medium engagements or designated components of larger audits, including allocation and review of work performed by juniors.
  • Perform and review risk assessment procedures, including walk through of key processes (revenue, procuretopay, inventory, payroll, fixed assets), and assess control design and implementation.
  • Evaluate control deficiencies and misstatements identified; assist in forming views on materiality, aggregation of differences, and communication to management., Draft audit reports, management letters, and key audit matters, ensuring issues are clearly articulated with impact and recommendations.
  • Monitor engagement progress against budget and timelines; flag delays, scope changes, or issues early to the engagement manager/partner., Provide onthejob training and feedback to junior team members on audit procedures, documentation quality, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA.
