Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance (QA) at a pharmaceutical Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Plant located in Roorkee. The Assistant Manager - QA will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing quality management systems, reviewing batch manufacturing records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role also involves managing audits, developing SOPs, conducting training sessions, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Quality Assurance, including knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in reviewing batch manufacturing records, handling deviations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and OOS (Out of Specification) investigations
  • Proficiency in creating and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring adherence to quality management systems
  • Ability to conduct internal and external audits and manage change control processes
  • Strong communication, people management, and leadership skills with a focus on fostering team collaboration
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in quality assurance within an OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with working in compliance with regulatory authorities like WHO, FDA, or other global standards is an advantage
