Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru & Hyderabad for an Assistant General Manager-Projects/Commercial Manager. The role entails overseeing project management, creating and implementing development plans, and leading commercial management for assigned projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Responsible for sourcing services and resources, negotiating costs with other suppliers and overseeing projects.
- Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms.
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts.
- Analyse data and generate reports to identify potential for business growth.
- Monitor local and federal regulations.
- Ensure to include project planning, contract negotiation and risk management.
- Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth.
- Manage daily operations, including employee training and development, contract negotiations and project planning.
- Maintain reports and records of the budgets and expenses of the projects.
- Reviewing / developing operational process flows.
- Responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. Primarily estimate and monitor project costs, from the early design to the final construction stages.
- Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.
- To work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure a project is cost-effective and meets quality standards.
- Review of Tender Documents and Client requirements.
- Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Specifications.
- Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.
- Coordinate technical and Commercial meetings with client and subcontractors.
- Ensuring Quality and Safety Standard.
- Preparing deviation and variation statement for final payments of the Contractors.
- Process implementation with periodic reviews and recommendations for process improvement for business effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- 12+ years of experience in construction management, project management, and commercial management
- A proven track record in handling residential high-rise Buildings, Commercial and Industrial buildings.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience in Execution / Planning / Estimation & Costing.
- Proficiency in Project Management, Vendor Management,Tender Bid process & Business development.
- A proven history of successful delivery of projects in Construction Industry with best practice.
- Strong leadership skills, negotiation skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing Company Asset material management & Wastage control systems.
- Languages- English, Hindi, Kannada & Telugu
- Software knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, MSP.
