Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SCM professional to manage procurement, vendor relationships, and contract management for
solar plant OM operations . The role requires strong expertise in sourcing electrical materials and services while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Location
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of electrical materials (cables, inverters, spare parts, etc.)
- Handle vendor sourcing, evaluation, and negotiations
- Manage Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) and service agreements
- Execute RFQ/RFP and bidding processes
- Ensure timely availability of materials and services for OM operations
- Work closely with internal teams (technical, finance, operations)
- Drive cost optimization and process improvements
- Use SAP/ERP systems for procurement and contract management
Key Requirements
- 510 years of experience in Procurement / SCM
- Experience in Solar / Power / EPC / Infrastructure industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical components OM activities
- Hands-on experience in vendor management contract negotiation
- Experience with SAP or ERP tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / SCM / related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience in solar plant operations (OM)
- Knowledge of ARC, tendering, and vendor development
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
