We are looking for an Assortment Planner to drive merchandise planning, buying strategy, and in-season trading performance through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.
Role Responsibilities:
Pre-Season Planning & Buying
- Develop category and store level assortment buy plans based on historical performance and growth opportunities.
- Curate seasonal assortments aligned with consumer demand and channel objectives and seasonal stories across brands.
- Identify opportunities within assortment and category planning
- Offer quantitative and qualitative feedback on assortment planning in collaboration with channel stakeholders.
- Support key accounts and partners by reviewing orders and provide relevant, data-backed feedback.
In-Season Trading
- Monitor performance to identify fast and slow movers
- Support replenishment and inventory optimization
- Ensure smooth execution of product launches and campaigns
- Track inventory against buy plans for timely availability
- Share actionable insights to improve performance
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years experience in merchandising, assortment planning, or brand strategy
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Understanding of merchandising and retail planning processes preferred
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of consumer and brand dynamics
- Fluent English communication skills
