Job Title: Software Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester with a strong foundation in Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who are eager to grow their skills in software testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software features and functionality.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
• Provide feedback on software usability and functionality.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and test scripting.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
