We are looking for a highly efficient and trend-aware junior video editor to specialize in fast-paced, short-form content. You will be instrumental in ensuring our video ads, UGC spots, and organic content are high-quality, engaging, and optimized for maximum retention and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end editing process for high-quality short-form vertical videos (Reels, Shorts, ads)- from raw footage to polished final output.
- Deliver fast, precise edits using advanced techniques such as seamless jump cuts, trending text treatments, refined color grading, and professional sound design/music syncing.
- Strategically optimize every video for platform-specific requirements, ensuring strong hooks, high retention, and strong storytelling within the first 35 seconds.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, strategy, and production teams to integrate motion graphics, VFX, and brand elements with accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee organization of project timelines, raw footage, asset libraries, and edit files to maintain efficient workflows and quick turnarounds for daily/weekly content.
- Provide creative input, elevate concepts, and maintain quality control across all edits before final delivery.
- Mentor junior editors (if applicable) and help streamline editing processes and best practices.
