Delivery Manager - Job Description

• 15+ years experience in end to end delivery management.
• Responsible for direct & ongoing technical and project leadership for a team of individual contributors designing & developing new products, enhancements & updates and coordinating projects for system software
• Accountable for results of major program in terms of on time delivery, quality and people management
• Provide guidance on process improvement to derive efficiencies, cost reductions and recommend changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met in accordance with programs and organizational roadmaps
• Responsible for Communicating project status and escalate issues to direct managers, program managers, business analyst and internal and external development partners to attain on time delivery of product/program releases
• Manage relationship with outsourced partners and suppliers, including expectation setting regarding project schedules, quality and costs along with ensuring seamless communication between team and outsourced partners
• People management responsibility for assigned team members, including hiring, setting, and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.
