We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing & Offline Media Operations Lead to manage end-to-end billing & operations for our media business based out of Delhi location. The role requires strong ownership of invoicing, collections, reconciliations, client interactions, interaction with planning team, processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and process efficiency across all billing & operations activities.

Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing
- Oversee accurate and timely generation of client invoices in line with agreed commercial terms and campaign deliveries
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, rate cards, and internal controls
Collections & Receivables Management
- Drive collections and actively manage outstanding receivables
- Engage with clients to resolve payment delays and disputes
- Maintain healthy ageing and optimize working capital
Reconciliation & Issue Resolution
- Lead periodic reconciliation of billed vs. delivered vs. booked revenues
- Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve billing and revenue gaps
- Collaborate with internal teams (planning, buying, operations) for closure
Client Interaction & Client Audits
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on billing-related matters
- Handle escalations, disputes, and queries with clarity and professionalism
- Drive global and local clients annual financial audits under the contractual obligations
Process & Operations Excellence
- Streamline billing processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure adherence to defined TATs, SLAs, and audit requirements
- Support automation and dashboarding initiatives for better visibility
Traditional Media Operations
- Lead and mentor the entire operations team
- Ensure seamless execution of offline media campaigns (TV, Print, Radio, OOH) in alignment with approved plans, timelines, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with media owners, publishers, and partners for release orders, scheduling, and inventory confirmations; resolve execution-level issues proactively.
- Oversee end-to-end billing processes including release orders, vendor invoices, client billing, and reconciliation against planned vs executed activity.
- Maintain accurate documentation (ROs, invoices, proof of execution, contracts) ensuring audit readiness and adherence to internal controls and SOPs.
- Track campaign delivery vs plan, highlight variances, and support teams with timely reports and insights for effective decision-making.
- Work closely with planning, buying, and client servicing teams to ensure alignment, timely closures, and smooth workflow across functions.
Key Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (preferred) / MBA Finance or equivalent
- Experience: 10+ years in billing, collections, reconciliation, and finance operations
- Industry Exposure: Media / Advertising / Agency experience preferred
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, revenue recognition, and client commercials
- Excellent communication skills with prior experience in client-facing roles
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Agile, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
