Happiest Minds is seeking an experienced Associate Test Director to lead our Quality Engineering initiatives. In this role, you will oversee testing processes, drive quality assurance strategies, and manage a team of QA professionals. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing and validation of software products. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving high standards of quality while optimizing testing methodologies and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Develop and implement robust testing strategies and plans that align with project objectives and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Design and execute test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify, track, and report defects, facilitating timely resolution with development teams.
• Establish and enforce testing best practices, methodologies, and standards across projects.
• Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes.
• Contribute to project planning and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
  
  

Skills And Tools Required

• Strong experience in quality assurance and test management, with a proven track record in leading testing teams.
• Proficiency in multiple testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in quality assurance are a plus.

Developing and executing test strategies and plans for various projects.

Leading and mentoring a team of testers to drive quality initiatives.

Ensuring the identification and tracking of defects, while maintaining quality metrics.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
