We're building India's most intelligent trading mobile app. As an APM on the Product team, you will own end-to-end features that shape how millions of retail investors trade, invest, and grow wealth on 5paisa. This is not a coordination role — you'll be deep in data, close to code, and obsessed with solving real friction points for stock market participants.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the full product loop: discovery → prototype → spec → dev → ship → iterate for at least one core trading product area.
- Diagnose customer pain using funnel data, session, support tickets, and direct user calls — then translate it into precise problem statements.
- Write tight PRDs with API contracts, edge cases, and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from without ambiguity.
- Instrument every feature: define events, build dashboards (Mixpanel / Clevertap/ SQL), and own metric outcomes post-launch.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance & Exchange ops to ship features within SEBI/NSE/BSE regulatory guardrails.
- Spot market microstructure opportunities (order types, margin optimisation, options flow) and convert them into product improvements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Tech fluency: can read API docs, write basic SQL queries, understand system design trade-offs, and speak the same language as backend/frontend engineers.
- Stock market depth: solid working knowledge of equity cash & F&O segments, order matching, depository flows, or mutual fund journeys — not just surface-level familiarity.
- Data-first instinct: every hypothesis backed by numbers; every decision has a measurable success criterion.
- Customer obsession in brokerage context: you've studied where retail traders drop off, overtrade, or misunderstand risk — and have ideas to fix it.
- Fast, structured thinker: comfortable moving from ambiguous user complaint → root cause → solution → MVP in a week.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Prior experience/ tpmin fintech, trading platform, or financial data analytics.
- NISM certification or active trading/investing experience.
- Exposure to A/B testing frameworks or growth experiments.
