Associate Technical Lead, Software Development

KLA's eBeam Division is looking for a passionate Associate Technical Lead, Software Development to help define and deliver high-quality solutions for our current and next-generation Wafer Inspection and Review product lines. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals who thrives on solving complex software challenges, understanding customer use cases, and contributing to cutting-edge technological advancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build software solutions for our products that directly impact semiconductor manufacturing, leading to a better quality of life for all.
  • Be responsible for the analysis of current software systems for performance, throughput, diagnosis, and troubleshooting, developing solutions that address these issues.
  • Develop prototypes and work on solutions for new concepts.
  • Implement software in accordance with functional use cases, ensuring high performance and optimized hardware interactions.
  • Incorporate sophisticated software algorithms for resource-intensive software requirements to optimize and enhance system performance.
  • Contribute to end-to-end software development, from requirements to delivery, focusing on writing high-performing code and applying clean coding practices.
  • Collaborate with exceptional talent from across multiple global regions and functional groups such as systems/hardware engineering, SMEs, and manufacturing.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented software analysis and design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft C# .Net or C++ programming.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to tackle complex problems.
  • Excellent software documentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn new design principles, technologies, and business use-cases.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree; or Master's Level Degree; or Bachelor's Level Degree in Computer Sciences or related fields.
