In this role, you will assist the Level 2 Coach in delivering safe, enjoyable, and challenging pre-planned sessions, while monitoring participants attendance, progression, and achievements. You'll provide regular verbal and written feedback, help design and deliver workouts, and cover sessions for beginners when needed. Additionally, you'll stay updated with training, operate attendance and evaluation software, and be prepared for first aid and risk identification training in an aquatic environment.
Swimming, Coaching
- Teach & Coach the levels and age group Competent and Qualified for
- Deliver Safe, Enjoyable and Challenging Pre-Planned Sessions under the supervision of the Level 2 Coach
- To Monitor & keep participants Attendance, Progression and Achievement records up to Date
- Give both written and verbal Feedback regularly to the participants
- Assist S Coach Level 2 in delivering pre-prepared sessions
- Design Workouts/plans and assist in delivering part trainings
- Readiness to cover for teaching beginners (children & Adults)
- Readiness to train and cover for the team Lifeguard
- Develop basic knowledge of technology in order to operate our attendance and evaluation software program.
- Attend multiple trainings and in-services throughout the year to stay current
- Readiness for First Aid & Risk Identification Training in an aquatic environment
- Internal Quality assurance of all assessments
Qualifications & Skills
- Swimmer with State Level or above participation
- Holding any one of these qualifications: STA (A)/ASCA Level 2 & 3/NIS (C)
- 2-3 years Coaching Experience
