Associate - Sustainability (S&R)

What you'll do

Case Management & Analysis

• Lead smaller cases and workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery and client impact.
• Oversee and review the work of Analysts, addressing complex challenges with clear solutions.
• Present actionable recommendations through concise and insightful communication.

Sustainability Expertise

• Build and apply deep expertise in sustainability topics, including emission benchmarking, baselining and deep-dives on regulations etc
• Develop models for Scope 1-3 emissions using globally recognized frameworks such as the GHG Protocol.
• Monitor and interpret evolving S&R regulations and global standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Support the design and implementation of comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with regulatory frameworks and business objectives.

Technical Skills

• Leverage advanced data analytics tools, including Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Tableau Prep, or Power BI, to analyze data and create impactful visualizations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in coding (eg, Python) and AI tools to enhance efficiency and automate processes.
• Explore emerging AI applications in sustainability to develop innovative solutions.

Collaboration and Team Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, contributing to multiple client projects and workstreams with precision and efficiency.
• Coach Analysts on performance and task execution, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

About You

Education & Experience

• bachelors degree with 3-4 years of experience, or masters degree with 0-2 years of experience.
• Background in sustainability, data analytics, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Skills & Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of carbon management, including Scope 1-3 emissions and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, CDP, or similar standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling, Alteryx, Tableau, Tableau Prep, or other data analytics tools to create workflows and actionable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex datasets and generate clear recommendations.
• Exceptional team collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
