Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven Electronics Engineer to join NID and contribute to the development of cutting-edge embedded systems, instrumentation, automation hardware, and control electronics. You will work across embedded firmware, industrial communication, sensor interfacing, high-precision measurement systems, and electronics for harsh environments, supporting the development of next-generation reactors and advanced hardware that power NoPo's SWCNT technology.

This role is hands-on, innovation-driven, and ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced deep-tech environments.

Key Responsibilities

Embedded Systems & Firmware

Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems (ARM, AVR, ESP32, etc.).

Interface sensors, actuators, and peripherals using I2C, SPI, UART protocols.

Develop applications on Raspberry Pi and Linux-based embedded platforms (Python/C).

Industrial Communication & Automation

Implement and troubleshoot industrial protocols such as:

oMod-bus RTU / Mod-bus TCP

oRS-485, RS-232

Work with PLC and DCS systems for data acquisition, monitoring, and control integration.

Integrate embedded electronics with industrial automation equipment (sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves).

Electronics Design & Testing

Assist in PCB design, schematic review, and basic layout considerations (Altium/KiCad/Eagle preferred).

Perform hardware testing and validation using:

oOscilloscopes

oLogic analyzers

oMultimeters

Read and interpret data sheets, schematics, wiring diagrams, and hardware manuals.

Documentation & Collaboration

Prepare technical documentation including design notes, wiring diagrams, test reports, troubleshooting logs, and user manuals.

Collaborate with mechanical, software, process, and R&D teams for full system integration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when dealing with live system debugging.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics engineering, embedded systems, industrial automation, or related domains. Strong understanding of micro controllers (ARM, AVR, ESP32, PIC, etc.).

Good knowledge of digital/analog electronics and basic electrical engineering principles.

Hands-on experience with I2C, SPI, UART protocols.

Experience with Raspberry Pi, GPIOs, Linux systems, and Python/C programming.

Practical understanding of Mod-bus RTU/TCP, RS-485, RS-232, and industrial communication wiring.

Ability to interface electronics with PLC/DCS systems.

Ability to read schematics, data sheets, wiring diagrams effectively.

Familiarity with PCB tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle) is preferred.

Experience using multi meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers for system-level debugging.
