Role Overview
We are looking for a
Channel Growth Manager who can independently own, scale, and optimize
one core sales channel (e.g., Home Depot, Wayfair, Target, TikTok Shop, or similar). This role is for someone who has
personally driven revenue growth on a specific platform and understands how to build and execute a
platform-level growth strategy, not just run isolated campaigns.
You will be accountable for
sales growth, visibility, conversion, and efficiency within your assigned channel.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Ownership & Growth
- Own end-to-end growth for one primary ecommerce channel, including revenue, traffic, conversion, and profitability.
- Develop and execute a platform-specific strategy to scale sales based on the channel's algorithms, audience behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Act as the internal subject-matter expert for the assigned platform.
Listing, SEO & Merchandising
- Optimize product listings for search visibility and conversion, including titles, attributes, content, imagery, and compliance.
- Conduct platform-specific keyword research and implement SEO best practices.
- Identify and close content and discoverability gaps versus competitors.
Paid Ads & Performance Strategy
- Design and manage channel-native ad strategies (e.g., Wayfair Sponsored Products, Home Depot Ads, TikTok Ads, Target Roundel).
- Structure campaigns, budgets, and bidding strategies to drive efficient growth (ROAS / CPA / contribution margin).
- Lead experimentation and optimization efforts to improve performance over time.
Launch & Expansion Strategy
- Plan and execute new product launches within the channel, including keyword seeding, content rollout, and early-stage momentum.
- Identify opportunities to expand assortment, improve placement, or unlock new channel features.
Analytics & Decision-Making
- Track and analyze performance metrics across the funnel (impressions, CTR, CVR, CAC/ROAS, revenue).
- Use data to diagnose issues, prioritize initiatives, and guide strategy.
- Prepare clear performance summaries and actionable insights for leadership.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience owning and growing at least one major ecommerce or digital sales channel (Home Depot, Wayfair, Target, TikTok Shop, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to independently:
- Build a platform-level growth strategy
- Optimize listings and SEO
- Execute and scale ad strategies
- Drive launch-oriented growth initiatives
- Strong understanding of ecommerce fundamentals: merchandising, pricing, promotions, ads, and conversion optimization.
- Highly analytical with strong Excel skills and comfort working with performance data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain strategy and results.
- Self-starter mindset with comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
