The Associate Specialist, Information Management, supports the effective collection, organization, storage, and dissemination of business-critical information across departments. This role ensures compliance with information management standards, promotes data integrity, and facilitates access to accurate information for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support collection, organization, storage, and dissemination of business-critical information.
- Implement information management standards, ensuring compliance with data governance, retention, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to maintain repositories, databases, and document management systems.
- Facilitate access to accurate and timely information for decision-making while ensuring version control and quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in information workflows.
- Assist in training employees on information handling practices, including classification, archiving, and retrieval processes.
- Manage requests for information, coordinate with internal teams, and provide guidance on best practices for information sharing.
- Support initiatives related to knowledge management, digital transformation, and automation to optimize information usage.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of information integrity, accessibility, and confidentiality.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, IT, or a related field.
- 12-16 years of experience in information management, document control, or knowledge management.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, retention policies, and document management systems.
- Experience in auditing information workflows and implementing process improvements.
- Proficiency in digital tools for information management and collaboration.
