Associate-Solar Design Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Design and Drafting:

Prepare detailed drawings which includes Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA), structural design, shadow analysis, and string configuration.

Ensure designs meet project requirements and are aligned with industry standards.

1. Project Review and Monitoring:

Assess site readiness, analyse solar resources, validate capacity compliance, and review equipment quality and suitability.

Identify project risks (technical, operational, financial) and recommend mitigation measures.

Conduct design reviews at various stages of the project lifecycle: design, installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring.

Monitor and evaluate project performance to ensure adherence to design specifications and optimal functionality.

1. Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Coordinate with external stakeholders to address design-related requirements, clarifications, and changes.

1. Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and refine design processes to improve efficiency and project outcomes.

Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in solar design.

Requirements:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or Solar Engineering (specialization preferred).
• 12 years of experience in solar design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
