Job Description
Monitors overall quality in terms of correctness, completeness, functional and nonfunctional suitability, accuracy, integrity, scalability, reliability and performance of the various components of DN products, systems and networks. Responsible for integrating applications into monitoring solutions and building and maintaining functional and/or performance test frameworks. Analyzes and conducts thorough quality assurance inspections and quality-control tests to ensure that hardware and software operates properly, is defect-free, and meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Drives continual process improvements in the evolution of testing procedures, including development / application of automated procedures, for future replication.
Responsibilities
- Learn product features and contribute to ensuring high‑quality standards in all deliverables.
- Understand requirements clearly by reviewing and analyzing product specifications.
- Design and execute test cases: Create simple, effective test scenarios using basic test design techniques to maximize defect detection.
- Run tests and report issues: Execute test cases, identify bugs, and document defects accurately.
- Deliver on time with quality: Support timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining reliability.
- Raise and resolve issues: Escalate technical or module‑related problems promptly and assist in finding solutions.
- Collaborate with the team: Work with peers to define test cases, expected results, and analyze defects together.
- Show ownership and initiative: Take responsibility for assigned work, be proactive, and embrace new challenges with a learning mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering field. Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Candidate should be willing to work from office on regular basis.
- Basic understandings of Functional testing and eagerness to apply it in real projects.
- Exposure to test case design and execution, with awareness of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle concepts.
- Familiarity with web application testing concept and ability to analyze requirements effectively.
- Understanding of JIRA or similar platforms for test management and bug tracking tools.
- Understanding of Agile Scrum practices and iterative models of SDLC through academic or project experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills: English (Written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
