Job Title - Associate Software Engineer (0-1 years)
Position Summary
This role is for a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join our Magento development team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build a strong foundation in eCommerce development using Magento.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of Magento-based websites
- Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code in PHP and JavaScript
- Support senior developers in implementing new features and fixing bugs
- Work on frontend and backend tasks as per project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
- Debug issues and provide timely fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and Design
Technical Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP
- Understanding of JavaScript (ES5/ES6 basics)
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Good to Have
- Exposure to Magento / Adobe Commerce (projects, training, or internship)
- Knowledge of MySQL
- Familiarity with Git or any version control system
- Understanding of REST APIs
Required Skills Set
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Must have 0-1 years of experience working with Magento.
