Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Java Developer with 12 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
Java and Spring Boot, strong proficiency in
relational databases. A passion for learning new technologies and leveraging modern
developer productivity tools like GitHub Copilot is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust Java-based applications and microservices.
- Optimize database design and queries for performance and scalability.
- Code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously explore and adopt new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Java development, with experience in Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Deep understanding of databases Oracle and SQL.
- Experience with Git, GitHub.
- Exposure to developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, IntelliJ IDEA, and code linters.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Language:
- Business proficiency in English. Japanese language knowledge required at N2/N3 level proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
