We are hiring for one of our clients for the role of Associate Software Engineer Design. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical design and hands-on experience with Creo, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain product specifications using GD&T and Creo CAD tools
- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs aligned with design standards
- Work on casting components and related manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards (company, national & international)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to process engineering requests
- Conduct drawing quality reviews and maintain high design standards
- Support product configuration, change management, and lifecycle documentation
- Perform modeling and analysis (DVA, FEA) for system-level evaluations
- Apply mechanical design expertise to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teams
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous learning mindset
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Creo (2D & 3D) and PLM tools like Windchill
- Hands-on experience with GD&T
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: casting, sheet metal, machining
- Understanding of product lifecycle & change management
- Basic knowledge of engine components and their functionality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
