Job Description

We are seeking a Associate Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to support our month-end close processes and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and self-motivated professional with at least 6 years of experience to provide crucial financial insights and help drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be proficient with Excel and other financial software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support the month-end close by preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. You will also extract and analyze complex financial data to identify trends and variances in corporate overhead costs.
  • Reporting & Insights: Maintain and update internal monthly reporting templates to analyze financial results and KPIs, providing meaningful insights to leadership.
  • Accounting Functions: Handle daily and monthly cash management activities, including the preparation of bank fees and interest income. You will also perform fixed assets accounting processes and manage lease accounting activities, from reviewing agreements to preparing monthly entries.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in annual initiatives focused on enhancing efficiency and improving financial reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of professional work experience is required, preferably with exposure to monthly financial reporting and financial statement close processes.
  • Education: A Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: You must have superior computer skills, with particular expertise in Excel. Experience with Oracle, Power BI, and data models is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Personal Attributes: You must be self-motivated, detailed, well-organized, and have strong issue-resolution skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential.
