Job Description
execute Deshpande Foundation's projects and interventions in assigned area; assigned areas span multiple talukas or entire districts
o
current projects and interventions include initiatives in water security, agricultural livelihoods, non-agricultural livelihoods, waste management and financial inclusion
identify and develop new interventions to maximize positive social impact
oversee field staff; assign and track tasks for smooth execution
o
ensure team works at high level of productivity
o
ensure members of the team have learning opportunities and career growth
build community relationships to identify and execute projects and interventions
build relationships with government agencies to dovetail progams with government priorities and work in tandem with authorities to amplify impact
do critical impact assessments and make recommendations on growing, maintaining or terminating programs and projects
must have good communication skills in English, and be able to collect and present data in well-structured spreadsheets
