The role:
We are looking for highly driven Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help expand Razorpay X Payroll across mid-market companies.
This is a pure outbound prospecting role focused on building pipeline for the sales team. SDRs will identify and engage potential customers, generate interest and book qualified meetings for Account Executives.
This role requires high activity levels, strong communication skills and resilience. You will spend a significant portion of your day reaching out to prospects through calls, LinkedIn and email..
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, LinkedIn and email
- Identify companies with 100+ employees that fit the target customer profile
- Engage HR, finance and operations leaders to introduce Razorpay X Payroll
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the Account Executive team
- Use prospecting tools such as Apollo, Lusha and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build targeted outreach lists
- Maintain accurate activity tracking in CRM systems
- Experiment with outreach messaging and sequences to improve response rates
- Use AI tools to personalise outreach and improve prospect engagement
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6 months – 2 years experience in Sales Development / Inside Sales / Outbound Sales
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech or technology products preferred
- Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls daily
- Familiarity with prospecting tools like Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
