Position: Scientist / Research Associate In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays

About the Role
Nuvo Labs Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated scientist/research associate to support in vitro screening and functional characterization of therapeutic antibodies and drug molecules. The candidate will contribute to high-throughput screening, cell-based functional assays, and biochemical characterization to support antibody discovery and lead candidate selection in drug discovery programs.
Key Responsibilities
In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays
- Design and execute high-throughput and medium-throughput screening assays for monoclonal and bispecific antibodies.
- Develop and perform cell-based functional assays, including:
- Receptor binding and signaling assays
- Reporter assays
- Cytokine release assays
- Immune cell activation assays
- ADCC / ADCP assays
Antibody Characterization
- Perform binding and affinity characterization using techniques such as:
- ELISA
- Flow Cytometry
- Other biochemical and immunological assays
Drug Discovery Support
- Screen antibody and drug molecule panels to support lead candidate identification and selection.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare scientific reports to support internal research programs.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in:
- Mammalian cell culture techniques
- Biochemical assays, including:
- Western Blotting
- Immunoprecipitation
- Molecular biology techniques, including:
- RNA processing
- qPCR
- ddPCR
- Cloning
Preferred Qualifications
- M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
- Experience working in antibody discovery, immunology, or drug discovery laboratories
- Familiarity with flow cytometry and functional immune assays is highly desirable.
