The opportunity

The candidate will assume a lead role in executing Global Product Support (GPS) related activities in the field of high voltage circuit breakers. The candidate shall be able to demonstrate technical skills, with a strong engineering fundamentals & background on product life cycle management.

Candidate should maintain and update product data for products in active portfolio such as drawings, design bill of materials, technical instructions, variants, decision tables etc. All product data needs to be maintained in high voltage product lifecycle management system following change management process ensuring data quality.

How you'll make an impact

  • Responsible for maintaining product master data & product design.

  • Implements and follows the GPS processes and tools, fulfils the defined KPIs and provides suggestions for continuous improvements.

  • Ensures close cooperations with all other functions and acts as a contact point for all other functions.

  • Ensure close collaboration and information flow across various products / platforms.

  • Closely cooperates with related GPS resource managers, maximizes speed and efficiency and drives the knowledge transfer within team.

  • Strives for product / platform harmonization and complexity cost reduction.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor or master's in engineering (Mechanical) with 1-4Yrs of total experience, with dedicated 1-2 years of experience on product support.
  • Solid technical background, with hands on experience in ProE along with developing configurations for variants in ProE
  • Experience in circuit breakers and/or mechanical devices will be an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Knowledge of international standards and testing requirements will be added advantage. Shall have strong sense of safety & integrity ownership & responsibility collaboration & trust.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
