About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Trainee who is passionate about software quality and eager to learn real-world testing practices. The trainee will work closely with the development team to ensure that applications function correctly, perform efficiently, and provide a seamless user experience.
This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a strong foundation in software testing, debugging, and quality processes while working on real development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Create and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Assist in regression testing before new releases.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Participate in daily standups and testing discussions.
- Help improve the overall quality assurance process.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of web applications and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with manual testing and bug reporting.
- Basic understanding of Java, databases, or web technologies is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Postman or API testing tools.
- Understanding of Git or version control systems.
