About Role

The Associate QC/QA Inspector is responsible for carrying out inspection activities on raw materials and finished products, handling measuring instruments and gauges, performing physical and dimensional verification, documenting results, and supporting compliance with mechanical and quality standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Basic knowledge of drawing interpretation and reading for manufacturing or QA processes.
  • Precise handling of measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dials, and bore gauges.
  • Skilled handling of various gauges, including TPG, TRG, PPG, and PRG gauges.
  • Performing dimensional inspection of machined or fabrication components.
  • Understanding and application of mechanical engineering processes like machining, drilling, tapping, and fabrication.
  • Responsible for incoming raw material and BOI (Bill of Items) physical verification as per drawings or specifications.

Additional Responsibility for Diploma Graduates:

  • Preparation of annexures for raw materials, verification, sampling, forwarding samples to labs, and coordinating follow-up with testing labs.
  • Documentation tasks including preparation of inspection report formats, reporting, and assembly-wise document filing.
  • Handling documentation related to raw materials such as RM-TC (Raw Material Test Certificate) and BOI-COC/TC (Certificate of Conformance/Test Certificate) as per standards.
  • Basic computer operating knowledge, including the use of Excel, Word, and email tools.
  • Inspection and handling with Third Party Inspectors (TPIs).
  • Communication skills for effective team and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience or apprenticeship in a manufacturing or quality environment.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Mail and Word).
  • Inspection and Handling with TPIs
