Job Description

The Associate Project Manager- PLM supports the planning, coordination, and execution of PLM and CAD-related initiatives within the Global Engineering Systems organization. This role assists in driving structured project delivery across PLM platforms, CAD environments, and related engineering systems, working closely with technical leads, engineers, and IT partners.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day coordination of PLM and CAD-related projects and initiatives
  • Assist in managing project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action items
  • Track tasks, issues, and risks using project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Coordinate activities and communication across engineering, IT, and external partners
  • Support requirements gathering and clarification with technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and status reports
  • Help monitor open issues, risks, and follow-ups to support on-time delivery
  • Promote alignment and transparency across distributed and cross-functional teams

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Work Experience

  • 1-year technical project coordination experience or equivalent certification (CAPM or PMP)
  • Background in engineering, PLM, CAD, or IT-related project environments
  • Exposure to product lifecycle concepts such as BOMs, change management, and document management
  • Experience working with cross-functional or international teams
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to perform project management tasks.
  • Comfortable presenting data and other information in front of groups.
  • Experience taking meeting notes, scheduling meetings and other related tasks.
  • Microsoft Project (or equivalent) Scheduling and Planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
