Job Description:

The opportunity:

Lead, plan, direct and control the construction of a project to ensure completion in accordance with design requirements and time and costs constraints to achieve profit objectives. Manage all aspects of project delivery from site and team-setup to handover. Reports to senior management on all issues relating to the project on a regular basis. Maintain strategic role in client liaison. Develop and review construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates. Authorize and direct construction planning, programming and on-site completion schedules. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Review of Contract receipt from Sales.

  • Develop project schedule and freeze with respective stakeholders (internal and external).

  • Preparation of project specific risk and opportunities management plan.

  • Preparation of project wise Master document list.

  • Coordination for Engineering drawing approvals.

  • Coordination with Engg and SCM to place order on sub supplier for material procurement.

  • Coordinate with feeder factories for production plan and follow up on production progress.

  • Coordination on Stage inspections .

  • Coordination with LPG for material readiness and completion of FAT.

  • Follow-up on Material shipment, material receipt at site and acknowledgment from sites for submission of Milestone billings .

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for Installation, testing and commissioning at site.

  • Closely coordinate and document change requests related to project scope and get approvals for time extension, additional cost etc.

  • Project handing over, as-built drawings, commercial closure etc and collection of PAC, close out of snags & FAC.

  • Payment follow up with Customers.

  • Main contact for customers in project, leading customer meetings.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Graduate in Electrical engineering with Min Experience of 6-10 years.

  • Must have expereince in project execution of GIS projects, Substation projects or similar project related to Design, supply installation of High Voltage equipment. Minimum of 2 years in role as PM.

  • Preference will be given to those who have experience working with Saudi Arabia & Middle East customers.

  • Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to convince stakeholders in the interest of the project.

  • Ability to work under pressure to deliver the projects with time, cost and quality.
