Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Lead/Senior Project Lead with a solid foundation in software development and deep exposure to the insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Agile project management methodologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects, primarily in the insurance domain
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
• Drive project planning, tracking, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget
• Manage scope changes, project risks, and dependencies effectively
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to SDLC best practices throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and status reporting
• Use project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello) for tracking and documentation
• Provide technical guidance where needed, leveraging development experience to resolve blockers
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum facilitation
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in managing software development projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on with project management tools
• Expertise in scope management, change control, and planning
• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Prior hands-on experience in software/application development

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Prior experience with enterprise applications in the insurance sector
• Technical proficiency in any programming language or platform
• Experience in managing onshore-offshore teams

Preferred Profile:

• Started career as a software developer and transitioned into project leadership
• Experience in insurance products, platforms, or digital transformation initiatives
• A proven track record of delivering complex projects with cross-functional teams
